Blueprint Marine opens superyacht crew training facility (11 March 2013)

The new centre is located at MB’92 in Barcelona, Spain.

Blueprint Marine, a Royal Yachting Association-recognised training centre, has opened a new superyacht crew training facility in Barcelona, Spain in collaboration with Marina Barcelona 92 (MB’92).

The centre will provide RYA training in powerboats and personal water craft (PWC/Jetski) from beginner to instructor level and will also assist yachts with their training and recognition needs for becoming RYA recognised training centres (PWC) themselves.

“Barcelona is an exciting development for us and we thank MB’92 for choosing us as their main collaborator,” says Blueprint principal and director Chris Eades. “We can now continue to offer our bespoke services to the superyacht industry anywhere in the world with the additional benefit of a base location perfectly placed for RYA and MCA training of all levels.”

MB’92 provides refit, repair and maintenance services to more than 90 superyachts per year from 35m-180m (115ft-591ft). The company’s facilities cover a surface area of 76,000sq m. (https://plus.ibinews.com, 8 March 2013)
