ICOMIA’s Superyacht Refit Group launches Code of Practice

Code sets out mandatory values and practices for refit members.
The International Council of Marine Industry Associations’ (ICOMIA) Superyacht Refit Group has launched a unique Code of Practice to ensure that their yard members develop and maintain relationships, certainty, performance and confidence. The Code of Practice sets out the values and practices of the group. Certain client issues are mandatory, such as insurance, warranty, transparency, environmental practices and customer satisfaction.
During its two years’ existence, remarkable progress has been made in the cooperation between the seven members of the ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group (Amico & Co Srl, Astilleros de Mallorca S.A., Composite Works, International Technic Marine, Marina Barcelona 92 S.A., Monaco Marine, and Rybovich). The Code of Practice is the first public outcome of this work. All ICOMIA Superyacht Refit Group yard members must conform to the Code of Practice that brings certainty to yacht refits.
