Cannes, on the French Riviera, is to be the venue next year for a new brokerage boat and superyacht show dedicated exclusively to brokerage and superyachts. The event is organised by Reed Expositions with the support of French Nautical Industries Federation (FIN).
The International Brokerage Show Cannes, as it will be called, will be held in Port Canto from April 19-22, 2012, a few weeks before the annual Cannes Film Festival. Organisers have said the show will host about 100 boats from 18-70m (59 – 299ft) and the organisers claim should attract between 10,000-15,000 visitors. (IBI-Plus, September 22th, 2011)
