The Nautical Academy teams up with MB’ 92 (26 September 2013)

The Nautical Academy has announced the opening of its new superyacht crew training facility in Barcelona, Spain, in collaboration with Marina Barcelona 92 (MB’92).

The Academy will be a full training facility, providing all the tools to increase the level of service provided onboard yachts.

Pepe García-Aubert, managing director of MB’92, comments: «This collaboration will enable us to provide our clients with yet another valuable service while the yachts are in our facilities or in Barcelona area.»

The programme includes exclusive access to leading training providers including Warsash Maritime Academy [Warsash Superyacht Academy], Interior Yacht Services, Med-Aire and Blanchard International. IN addition, the crew is able to complete courses across all departments including deck, engineering, interior, and galley.

All courses are accredited programs by the MCA, RYA, PYA and PADI.

Commenting on the announcement, Peter Vogel, The Nautical Academy Director, states: «The Academy is focused on providing support to captains and crew enhancing the service provided to their owners and charter guests.
