Marina Port de Mallorca has received special recognition for its role in reducing workplace accidents and preventing occupational accidents and diseases.
Patrick Reynés, manager of the marina, received the certificate from María Antonia Sbert, Balearics Provincial Director, and Carlos Sáez de Juan, Northeast Territorial Director of Madrid-based insurance firm Fraternidad Muprespa.
To be a creditor of this distinction, companies must meet a series of requirements that are evaluated by Fraternidad Muprespa and also supported by the Directorate General for ocial Security.
These requirements, linked directly to the reduction of labour accidents, also involve investment in prevention and comply with the laws relating to Occupational Health and Safety.
Earlier this week, Marina Port de Mallorca was one of three Spanish marinas within the IPM Group to receive Blue Flag status for its eco-credentials.
