A half day seminar entitled ‘What is happening in the Med’ is being held at the MYBA Charter Show on April 24
A half day seminar entitled ‘What is happening in the Med’ is being held at the MYBA Charter Show on April 24, 2017. This is a seminar specifically intended to provide an update on the superyacht market in the region.
This is a timely event taking account of what is happening in Spain, France and Italy among other Med markets. It will be held in a restaurant within Marina Port Vell, Barcelona where the annual MYBA Charter Show has been relocated to after having been based in Genoa for several years.
The Opening address at the seminar will be given by Antoni Tio, President of the Barcelona Cluster Nautic which will be followed by:
– Entry Custom Formalities and Inward Processing Relief in Spain by Beatriz Alonso of Evolution Yacht Agents
– Update on charter regulations in Spain by Alex Chumillas of Tax Marine
– Update on charter regulations in Croatia by Maya Ban of MYS Yachting
– Update on charter regulations in Italy and France by Christopher Pousee of Easy Tax
– Update on new Transport Contract and French Social Security by Janet Xanthopoulos of Rosemont Yacht Services
– Future of Dual use in EU waters also by Janet Xanthopoulos
The organisers say the seminar will offer tips for brokers, VAT , Tax and Customs regimes, provide information on new types of contracts and new ways of operating yachts like dual use.
