Lantimar Yachting to offer yachts full fiscal compliance (April 19, 2015)

The BC group and Sovren House Group of Companies have established a new full-service superyacht agency provision, under the banner Lantimar Yachting.
This joint venture will provide fiscal and legislative compliance services to superyachts as they travel the world and will be officially unveiled to the industry at the forthcoming Palma Superyacht Show.
Lantimar Yachting will draw on BC’s global logistical infrastructure and substantial expertise within the cruise sector, complemented by Sovren Group’s established and diverse portfolio within the superyacht sector.
Stephen White, Sovren Group’s owner and CEO, will be heading the new operation. And, in an exclusive conversation with SuperyachtNews.com ahead of the company’s official launch, he said: “Lantimar Yachting will offer everything a yacht agent does in a more logistically secure way with the provision of tax and legislative handling for the yachts’ operation in a proactive manner, backedup with their professional in house team of legal and fiscal advisers who are fully qualified and insured to provide such services.
The newly designated yachting company is there to provide the comfort afforded by a large cruise ship company, husbanding yachts as they cruise waters around the world, covering all legalities in house from crew guarantees and clearances formalities, right through to tax and legislative compliance.”
White will initially introduce Lantimar Yachting to the superyacht industry at the Superyacht Management Meeting: Fiscal as a headline sponsor of the event. White and other delegates will assemble in Monaco on 28 April to discuss current disharmonisation of superyacht taxation and the means of rectifying this, in what will be a ground-breaking event for the industry.
