The 2014 season got off to a good start for SOS Yachting.
On the 4th February SOS Yachting took part in the Italian Superyacht Forum (ISF) organized by the British global media the Superyacht Group (www.thesuperyachtgroup.com) together with Navigo against the backdrop of the YARE (www.yarenetworking.com) in Viareggio which has now reached its 4th edition.
In the morning, the panel member Ezio Vannucci, VAT Advisor and Consultant for SOS Yachting, gave a talk on topical tax issues such as Italian VAT due on refit and charters. In the afternoon, together with Alessandro Mazzoni, CEO of SOS Yachting, he chaired a round table on tax and administration.
A second event organized by SOS Yachting during the YARE was a three way meeting between experts from Italy, France with Thierry Voisin from ECPY and Spain represented by León Von Ondarza Fuster from AEGY, to provide an overview of current charter regulations in each country and how they are affecting the EU superyacht charter market.
