Date set for Mexico’s Cabo Marine Boat Show (24 January 2013)

Event to run from May 1-4 at the IGY Cabo San Lucas Marina

Organisers of the Cabo Marine Boat Show in Mexico have announced that the fourth edition of the show will run from May 1-4.

The show takes place at the IGY Cabo San Lucas marina, located on the southern tip of the Baja California peninsula, in the Mexican state of Baja California Sur. The 380-slip marina can accommodate vessels up to 114m (375ft) and 7m (24ft) draft.

Last year’s event had 50 companies exhibiting including Fairline Boats, BRP/Sea-Doo and Mercury Marine, to name a few. In addition, local brokerage companies had a range of boats on display from 5.7m-33.5m (19ft-110ft) from Bertram, Sunseeker and Beneteau, amongst others.

The show organiser told IBI that an average of 800 people visited the show every day.

Launched in 2010, the Cabo Marine Boat Show is the only event of its kind featuring boats and marine equipment and services on Mexico’s Pacific coastline. (https://plus.ibinews.com, 24 January 2013)
