Nigel Upton joins MPV as senior sales manager.
Barcelona-based Marina Port Vell has appointed Nigel Upton as its senior sales manager. He joins MPV having a diversified superyacht background with direct experience in sales, management, customer service and time at sea. Upton has been in this role since 10th March.
“We are excited that Nigel has agreed to join our sales team,” says Norma Trease, director of Salamanca Group’s Marine Division. “We met Nigel when he sold us our beautiful Windy tender, so we know first-hand that he understands how to work with clients and close deals. Further, he is remarkably customer service oriented, a top priority for us,” she adds.
In his role, Nigel Upton will interact with clients at all levels from first interest and berth logistics to providing and ensuring Marina Port Vell’s 5-Star customer support and concierge services.
Marina Port Vell in Barcelona caters to yachts up to 120m (393ft).
